Speculation in KLSE -updated 10-Feb-2011

Aiks....today i got another 2 tips, which are TANCO and LIENHOE. I'm not interested to go for it, but I would like to monitor it.

The TANCO was queried by BURSA on 9 Feb 2011. However, the technical analysis seems good. The uptrend signal is still strong. 

Lienhoe seems weak. The downtrend signal is going stronger while the DI +ve and -ve tend to cross each other.

Iphone 4 from Verizon

The Iphone4 debut in Malaysia creates a unstoppable hot wave. It is out of stock in KL region. Either you've to put yourself in a waiting list or some says you can put some deposits to them and they'll reserve you a unit. Why the supply is slower than the demand. This question puzzles me a lot. The supplier should have increased its production rate if the market is so good to boost their profit.

Or the trading company or distributer hold the stock since the market is also spreading rumour that the Iphone5 is on its way. Is that true ?

Verizon will launch its IPHONE4s in the market starting on 9 Feb 2011. The improvement is the antenna. No more drop call and it's a simcardless phone, so called CDMA. However, our country is using GSM system. One  more advantage of the 'new' phone is the ability to act as a wireless modem to your PC. It's an improvement to the previous version of iphone4.

Bloody Yearly Increment!!

I started off my year 2011 with a good note. I got RM 4k angpow from Uncle Lim. I won money from gambling time during CNY and I hit one number, even though it's consolation prize at Da Ma Chai. Yet, I was back to work on 8 Feb and I was happy to know that the yearly increment result is out. Excited, I immediately run to HR to receive it, Keke. I was feeling good this year because I got promoted 1 job grade up. My gf salary is higher than me around 400 since her last job grade promoted. So, I expect mine will catch up with her level.

TO MY DISAPPOINTMENT !
My increase is only 7%. same with her. So, the latest scoreboard is her salary is 425 more than me. Aiks....!! WTF I would like to say to the management. Firstly, I was rated one of the best performer in the company. Lets say average is 5%. Reasonably, I got 7%. Hey, man..! This year I got promoted. Suppose, I should get extra increment around 200. It's bad !! It has totally de-motivated me. It has lighten up my desire to change job.

Didn't you feel the same with me !!!!!?

Speculation or short term 'invest' ?

Actually, my investment philosophy is medium term, which i expect to make some gain in 3-6 months. However, I did receive some tips from friend who is doing broker, some news from colleagues, or something views from my uncle. Well, please check it up. I wanna record it down as my history to see what is the result if I choose to follow them.

1) K1
This share I was told by my boss, saying that it will be 'up' soon. My heart felt hot and without thinking twice, I choose to follow but of course not much since it's contrast to my own philosophy.

2) MITRA

This share, I'm more confident since it was analysed by my uncle. It at least has some basic behind the selection of this share. MITRA is doing construction. The price is having low P/E and it's proposing bonus issue.
